Deputy President William Ruto has maintained the lead in regions that hugely backed him and President Uhuru Kenyatta in the 2017 and 2013 polls, Radio Africa Group survey revealed.
The DP is also gaining ground in Western Kenya where ODM leader Raila Odinga has been winning in the past three general elections that he has vied for the presidency.
Raila, however, has surpassed Ruto nationally in the same opinion poll.
According to the poll, 47.4 per cent of respondents said they would vote for Raila as president if elections were held today, compared to Ruto's 43.4 per cent.
