Reports that an eagle  interrupted Azimio Presidential candidate Raila Odinga's last rally at Kasarani stadium are fake.

Social media on Saturday was awash with reports that an eagle grabbed a drone owned by Citizen TV when the event was live disrupting the coverage of the ODM leader's last submission.

Fact-checker has however established that the reports are fake.

The image widely shared by a section of Kenyans was taken in 2016 and not on Saturday at Kasarani Stadium.

Fact-checker has also established that Citizen TV coverage of Raila's event was not interrupted at all on Saturday, leave alone the eagle grabbing their drone.

The image is indeed real that an eagle grabbed a drone.

The photo was taken by photographer Koen Van Weel in March of 2016 and documents a trained eagle from the "Guard from above",  company wrapping its talons around a drone, during a police exercise in the Netherlands.
