In the last few days, social media has been awash with reports that Murang'a Woman representative Sabina Chege has ditched the ruling Jubilee party for the United Democratic Alliance party.
The reports were propagated by allies of deputy president William Ruto who took to their social media to give a hint of Chege's shift to the Kenya Kwanza Alliance movement.
The MP's silence and absence from Azimio la Umoja rallies also exacerbated the rumour with Azimio supporters also questioning whether she had changed her mind.
The speculations mounted after the MP kept mum and avoided commenting on political matters.
She focused on Biblical phrases that were regularly shared on her social pages.
Many misconstrued her Biblical phrases to a change of heart that she was on her way to UDA.
Pesacheck has debunked the rumours and it can authoritatively say that Sabina is still loyal to the Jubilee party.
Hot on the heels of the reports and speculations, Sabina has said " Jubilee ni sisi", a show of commitment to the party.
The message was written on a poster, having her image, Jubilee party colours and symbols, that she shared on her social media handles.
Reports on her alleged shift to the UDA can now be treated as political propaganda.
Kenyans can always check on her Facebook page, Hon. Sabina Wanjiru was Chege, for any information regarding her before falling prey to propagandists.
Chege has before said in the event she changes camp, she will announce it herself.
