A FIRST-TERM LAWMAKER has reportedly been urged by his
constituents to shift his political ambitions to a gubernatorial seat in 2027
or risk facing rejection like his predecessors. The constituency has a long-standing
trend of denying the representatives a second term, regardless of their
development record or success in fulfilling campaign promises. The previous
office holder, who was voted out in 2022, had launched numerous development
projects, including the construction of schools, roads, and churches, as well
as distributing financial aid, but those efforts seemingly failed to sway voters into re-electing him.

THE SENIOR LEADERSHIP of a prominent religious outfit is
reportedly operating a covert Ponzi scheme. According to a mole, the leaders
have been allegedly enticing
congregants with promises of doubling their investment within six weeks upon
contributing close to Sh150,000. This period is said to be reduced to 28 days
for those who recruit at least four new participants into the scheme.
Individuals unable to raise the full amount are supposedly encouraged to join as part of a group to meet the
threshold for block investments. The scheme has gained traction largely due to
the involvement of respected leaders, making it difficult for members to
question its legitimacy. Word is that it is all a hoax and those who challenge
the operation are reportedly silenced through threats of excommunication and
removal from the organisation’s register.

projects have reportedly stalled, with claims that the big manager could be spearheading unauthorised
initiatives.

STAFF OF A COUNTY were left in disbelief after the county chief
removed a close ally from his inner circle. The demotion was met with
celebrations by employees who claimed they had suffered mistreatment under the
affected officer’s leadership. The officer, known for posing as the
“operational governor,”supposedly
intimidated staff with threats of transfers, suspensions, or dismissal whenever
they disagreed. For the past three years, the officer is said to have maintained
a hostile working environment, allegedly pressuring officials until the
procurement deals they are working on together sail through.
