Handlers of a famous governor and a renowned MP were recently treated to a drama as their bosses engaged in a nasty verbal exchange. Corridors understand that the two leaders, who coincidentally met in a hotel, went for each other’s throat, as they hurled unprintable words. Those who witnessed the melee, said the governor attacked the legislator, accusing him of being used by some tycoons to fight him. But the MP responded in equal measure and told him off. He accused the governor of swindling public money. Since last year’s election, the leaders have not seen eye-to-eye.
