A governor and a senator from a county in the Rift Valley have fallen out. The two leaders were so close in the past and even campaigned together for the 2022 elections. However, they are now not seeing eye-to-eye. An insider said the two politicians can only be seen together at government events. Word has it that the senator is eyeing the governor seat in 2027, and is already laying strategies to challenge the county boss. The senator has also joined groups that have been critical to the governor.
