Severe jitters are reported over the recruitment process of an important job in government. Why? Some insiders allege that the “auctioning of the position is at its peak”. This, they say, is part of the reason for the delay in unveiling the successful candidate. Some reports suggest that the favourite for the job is a former official who was ejected from his previous seat over corruption. The man is said to solicit hefty bribes before doing the job he is hired to do. He also does not hesitate to return the favour, supposedly giving bribes to achieve whatever goal he aims at. It is a matter of wait and see if the recruiters will turn a blind eye to his infamous trait and hand him the crucial post.
