Officers at the premises of a top investigative agency have been left puzzled after a colleague who was allegedly caught stealing floor tiles in a stores was merely transferred to a neighbouring county on disciplinary grounds. The senior officer was apparently caught red-handed with the stolen tiles in his house within the precincts. But because of his supposed connections with the powers that be, the officer was hurriedly released from police cells where he had been detained, and posted to the neighbouring county.
