A lawmaker from a politically charged region had to drive in the dead of the night to a neighbouring county for the night after the local hotels refused to accommodate him. The man, who is at loggerheads with the political thinking of the region, first thought it was a joke when he was turned away by two main hotels until it hit midnight when the reality dawned on him. Our moles say the hotels feared a possible raid of their premises after the man was declared ‘unwanted’ in the area. The politico’s pleas to pay triple the amount fell on deaf ears.
