The assembly leadership over the weekend informally discussed how to convince MCAs to reject her. It is alleged she never applied for the job and was only sneaked in days after the deadline. The county boss has been reaching out to the MCAs using an influential MP from the region to arbitrate the stand-off. MCAs are adamant that they will reject her.
