Outgoing governor fleeing to foreign land, flies out family

An outgoing governor has reportedly sent his children abroad days to the end of his term. Corridors of Power has learnt that the county boss has quietly flown his family abroad. The governor has bought some property overseas and has decided to move the family there. It is not clear why he is relocating the family at the tail end of his term. There are reports that the governor has decided to lead a low-profile life out of the country after the end of his term. He is said to have made substantial investments in the foreign country including running real estate businesses abroad.

Just why was an outspoken senior police officer at a strategic region moved? Well, there are reports that the officer was transferred because of his publicity strategy that was perceived to outshine his bosses. The officer, who had also rattled seniors with his social initiatives, was punished for declining an order from one of the senior state officers that was illegal. Many are wondering why the official failed to follow the laid down command procedures. The official was recently overheard bragging how those challenging his orders will continue to be shown the door before the incoming administration.

A former county staff who quit her job to run for an MP seat in one of the counties is now in a catch-22 situation. The sassy and no-nonsense lady, who is said to be cosy with her ex-boss, is now stressed out after missing out on a nominations to Parliament after losing the party ticket. The gracious lady, known for having an appetite for classy things, had pumped all her savings into the campaigns. She has been spotted several times at the county offices pleading for a job so that she continues calling the shots. However, time appears to be running out for any maneouvers.
