Well, a little bird whispers to Corridors of Power that the head of state was not happy with some of the happenings at the fete and immediately laid the blame on the civil servant. It is said the civil servant was reportedly given a dressing down and asked to substantiate the spending on organisation of the event.

Teachers from a county in Nyanza now want TSC boss Nancy Macharia to come to their urgent help over what they call the high-handedness of their county director. The teachers are citing a case in which the TSC county boss humiliated one of them who had gone to the offices to follow up on her transfer. Corridors is told that the county director ordered his staff to mishandle the deputy principal who was following up on the progress of her transfer. Those in the know said the TSC boss 'got bored' with the teacher who was camping at the offices, unleashed junior staff who left her almost naked in the melee. She also lost her handbag in the brawl that attracted a gaggle of onlookers.

Just what’s the intention of a former county assembly speaker in one of the devolved units controlled by Jubilee members? This is the question some members of the county assembly close the former speaker are asking themselves. The man has vowed to take his revenge against some ward reps whom he accuses of orchestrating his removal. Corridors of Power understands that the former speaker has reached out to a top politician to help him ‘discipline’ the MCAs who planned his removal. He reportedly wants the lot denied party tickets to defend their seats. It’s also said the former speaker is behind a case that is said to be haunting some ward reps in the assembly.

Did a county boss commit millions of public cash to acquire a political party. Sources whispered to Corridors of Power that the second-term county boss gave the owners of the party a lucrative tender as part of the deal. According to insiders, the tender was grossly inflated to raise the millions that was the cost of the outfit. The party in question is associated with a former lawmaker who is eyeing a higher political position in 2022.
