Azimio la Umoja has launched a ruthless purge in the Senate as it moves to crack the whip on its members working with the government.
In a letter dated May 4 by Senate Minority Whip and Narok Senator Ledama Ole Kina, Azimio has kicked out five Jubilee senators from committees.
The Raila Odinga-led coalition has also dewhipped Kisumu Senator Tom Ojienda over his dalliance with President William Ruto.
Garissa senator Abdul Mohamed Haji has been ejected from the Health and National Security and Foreign Relations committees.
Also kicked out is Turkana Senator James Lomenen who will be discharged from the Energy, and Powers and Privileges committees.
