A first-term governor from Western could soon face the wrath of local leaders. This after it emerged that the county chief has seemingly filled top positions in his administration with 'outsiders' leaving out residents, some of whom tirelessly campaigned for him. Leaders who have been holding meetings in a city hotel for the last two weeks are angered that while locals are languishing in poverty, outsiders who do not understand the county are apparently calling the shots at the county offices. Worse, the governor has sacked many locals from his administration over claims they were hired irregularly by the previous regime. The leaders are said to be planning to petition the governor to sack outsiders or face political wrath in the coming days.
