The Kalasha Film and TV Awards event would not have ended without some light moments from Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna as he named his crush during the event.
Sifuna said he accepted the invitation to the event so that he can see his crush, actress Sarah Hassan.
Sifuna had not yet seen Sarah before he made his address saying that is why he decided to confess.
"Itifaki zote zikizingatiwa, nataka kuchukua fursa hii kwanza niwakaribishe nyote katika jiji letu. Na nikiri kwamba nlikubali mwito huu kwa sababu nlikua na kiu sana cha kukutana na mwanadada mmoja ambaye amenisumbua roho miaka mingi, anaitwa Sarah Hassan,"
This loosely translates to:
"All protocols observed, I want to take this opportunity to welcome you all to our city. I admit that I accepted this call because I was very eager to meet a young lady who has troubled my soul for many years, her name is Sarah Hassan, I have not seen her," he said.
A lady from the crowd took the chance to tell Sifuna that he might have a crush but they are the ones available 'Sisi ndio tuko'
Sarah is a Kenyan actress, model and former TV host who has appeared in several films and television series.
