In a historic move, female referees with officiate the 2022 men’s World Cup in Qatar.
In a major move for equality, female referees will officiate this year’s Men’s World Cup in Qatar, for the first time in history.
France’s Stephanie Frappart, Rwanda’s Salima Mukansanga, and Japan’s Yoshimi Yamashita have been selected to lead the way.
The three women will take control of the matches kicking off on November 21, and will be supported by three female referee assistants.
