Guests at a hotel in Nyanza were left speechless after two MCAs from a county in the area decided to settle their differences physically. Staff said the two male MCAs reportedly fought over an alleged hefty bribe a contractor they had just met gave them. Soon after the contractor left, the MCAs began to yell at each other in what was believed to be a disagreement on how to share the money. The management has reportedly banned the two from the hotel for causing disturbance.

Disquiet is reportedly building at a ministry after several human resource officers who had been transferred to other institutions made their way back. The group had been deployed to other ministries after they were allegedly found to engage in malpractices. They are said to be in the habit of attending all seminars and forums which have huge allowances in terms of per diems. Staff in the know believe the per diem is shared between human resources officers at the ministry.
