Twenty seven per cent of women (50) faced Obstetric violence (OBV) during pregnancy, according to a survey released on April 7.
According to the survey, 83 per cent who participated had experienced at least one form of OBV.
Eleven per cent were women with disabilities.
Responses were from 27 counties across 7 provinces - Nairobi, Western, Central, Nyanza, Coast, Rift Valley, and Eastern.
46 per cent of women who had experienced OBV were between 25 and 34 years of age 51 per cent of women who participated came from low-income and below-the-poverty-line households.
