Speaking in Gatundu during Trade CS Moses Kuria’s sister Pauline Nyokabi’s funeral, Githae told President Ruto to also accommodate Central Kenya's artistes who did not support them.
"You went to Nyanza and said that 99 per cent did not vote for you but welcomed them to join you," he said.
"In your house, there are many mansions. In Central, only 20 per cent did not vote for you."
He added that he was ready to work with the government.
Speaking to Word Is, Githae said he had not joined any political party yet as his leader had retired.
"I have not said that I have joined any party," he said.
"I was responding to someone who had asked me why I had not gone for the Kamukunji rally. That is to say, I am focusing on my music but also supporting the government that is in power."
Githae said his support for Azimio was to show his loyalty to retired President Uhuru Kenyatta.
"I was his worker but now he is retired, and so I have no good reason to fight the government that was genuinely voted in," he said.
Githae added that he attended the burial since it was in his home village.
"Even if Moses Kuria is not a politician, I would still have attended the burial as a villager," he said.
"I was among other artistes who attended the burial and I was given the chance to speak since I am a friend to the family and not because Moses Kuria is a CS. He was also my schoolmate. Nobody has paid me to join any party."
In his speech on Monday, Githae also requested DP Gachagua to give singer Ngaruiya Junior a job for being loyal to the party during and after the campaigns.
Gachagua would later announce that Ngaruiya and Muigai wa Njoroge were the only artistes who wholeheartedly supported the party.
He added that Ngaruiya had already landed a government position.
He did not reveal which position Ngaruiya would hold.
Githae told any artistes working with the government to also push for the welfare of other artistes to be getting their pay through Collective Management Organisations.
