President Mnangagwa hands power to VP as he goes on annual leave

He will be gone for three weeks.

President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa of Zimbabwe has officially started his annual leave of three weeks.

This is according to the Chief Secretary to President Dr. Misheck Sibanda.

During the period, the Vice President General (Rtd) Dr. C.G.D.N Chiwenga will be the Acting President.

“His Excellency the President Dr. E.D Mnangagwa started his annual vacation yesterday January 13, 2022. His vacation which runs until February 5, 2022, will be spent in the country,” the statement said on Friday.
