Set for July 25, 2026, the event is a partnership between Radio Africa Events and KICC and promises far more than a typical night out. Designed as Nairobi's premier tequila experience, Agave Affair blends premium tequila tastings, world-class entertainment, curated food pairings and immersive brand experiences into one unforgettable celebration.
Unlike conventional nightlife events, Agave Affair aims to introduce guests to the rich culture behind tequila while creating a sophisticated social setting where music, fashion, food and premium spirits come together.
First wave of DJs unveiled
Organisers have now revealed the first lineup of entertainers who will soundtrack the experience throughout the day and into the night.
Leading the festivities is celebrated host MC Kibunjah, whose energetic stage presence has made him one of Kenya's most sought-after event emcees. Popularly known as "The Only MC with an LLB", he brings together humour, charisma and audience engagement in equal measure.
Joining him behind the decks is DJ Big Chipi, one of the region's leading female Amapiano DJs whose performances have earned recognition across Kenya and Tanzania.
Fans can also look forward to performances by Tha Daqchild, widely recognised as the "King of Good Times" thanks to his energetic club sets and ability to keep dance floors alive.
DJ Tophaz
Already confirmed on the lineup are celebrated Nairobi DJ and producer DJ Mista C, renowned for effortlessly blending Hip-Hop, Afrobeat, Gengetone and urban sounds, alongside DJ Tophaz, popularly known as "Mr. 5ive Star", whose Vibez O'clock online mixes have attracted millions of views and a loyal following across East Africa.
Organisers say more DJs, vibe curators and surprise performers will be announced in the coming days, making the festival one of the most diverse entertainment experiences Nairobi has seen this year.

Agave Affair is built around changing how Kenyans experience tequila.
Although tequila is among the fastest-growing premium spirit categories in East Africa, many consumers still associate it with quick party shots.
