Shekel Mobility, the technology company building Africa's leading digital platform for automotive dealerships, has reinforced its commitment to the East African market by hosting Kenya's leading vehicle dealers, importers and industry stakeholders at an exclusive networking forum in Nairobi.

The event showcased how Shekel Mobility's innovative digital financing platform is helping dealerships overcome one of the industry's biggest challenges-limited access to affordable working capital for vehicle imports.

By providing fast, transparent import financing alongside digital tools to manage dealership operations, the platform enables dealers to increase inventory, improve cash flow and accelerate business growth.

Kenya is one of Africa's fastest-growing automotive markets, with demand for quality used vehicles continuing to rise.

However, many dealers still face financing constraints that limit their ability to import vehicles and expand their businesses.

Shekel Mobility's platform addresses these challenges by giving approved dealers access to import financing while simplifying the entire vehicle sourcing and financing process through a single digital platform.

"Kenya is one of Africa's most dynamic automotive markets, and its dealers are ambitious, sophisticated and ready to scale. Our commitment is to provide them with the financing and technology they need to grow their businesses confidently and sustainably. We are excited to deepen our presence in East Africa and partner with dealers as they unlock new opportunities for growth," said Sanmi Olukanmi, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Shekel Mobility.

During the forum, dealers were taken through the company's import financing process, demonstrating how they can access financing to purchase more vehicles without tying up their own capital.

Attendees also had an opportunity to engage with the Shekel team, explore the platform's capabilities and begin the onboarding process.

Backed by Y Combinator and leading venture capital firms including MaC Venture Capital and Ventures Platform, Shekel Mobility has already facilitated tens of millions of dollars in dealer transactions across Africa while supporting the growth of more than 1,000 automotive dealerships through its technology-enabled financing solutions.

By strengthening its presence in Kenya, Shekel Mobility aims to support the country's automotive sector by improving access to capital, increasing inventory turnover and empowering dealerships with digital tools that simplify business operations.
