TikTok removed 820,552 videos in Kenya in Q4 2025 in a major enforcement push aimed at strengthening platform safety, according to its latest Community Guidelines Enforcement Report.

The platform also banned 108,752 accounts during the same period.

The company said 99.9% of the videos were proactively removed before user reports, while 98.4% were taken down within 24 hours of posting.

These figures underscore TikTok’s continued investment in advanced detection systems and rapid response mechanisms designed to limit the spread of harmful content.

"A total of 108,752 accounts were banned, including 93,704 accounts suspected of belonging to users aged below 13, a violation of platform rules and a key focus in protecting younger users online," TikTok said in the report.

Globally, TikTok removed 175,302,085 videos, representing about 0.5% of all content uploaded on the platform during the quarter.

Of these, 152,580,933 videos were detected and removed using automated detection technologies, while 8,360,780 videos were reinstated after further review.

The platform recorded a 99.1% proactive removal rate, with 93.4% of flagged content removed within 24 hours of posting.

The company said it continues to combine advanced automated moderation tools with the expertise of thousands of trust and safety professionals worldwide to enforce its Community Guidelines consistently and at scale, addressing harmful content such as misinformation, hate speech, and other policy violations across the platform.

TikTok noted that the enforcement efforts reflect its broader commitment to maintaining a safe and trusted digital environment.
