President William Ruto on Thursday arrived at the Parliament buildings for the State of the Nation Address.
The government officials arrived earlier to receive the President, who arrived at 2:24 pm.
The president was accompanied by the First Lady, Mama Rachel Ruto.
Arriving alongside them were also Deputy President Kitthure Kindiki, Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and Chief Justice Martha Koome.
