

Detectives are investigating the murder of a 40-year-old woman after her body was found in her house in the Majajani area, Kijipwa, Kilifi County.
The body of Dama Kingi Charo had head
injuries when it was discovered on October 21, 2025, police said.
The motive of the murder was not
immediately established.
The body was found lying on the floor
of the house long after the murder, police who visited the scene said.
Police said a wooden object believed
to have been used in the murder was recovered at the scene.
The body was moved to the mortuary
pending an autopsy and investigations.
Elsewhere in the Bar-Olengo area, Siaya
County, one David Amollo alias Jeshi, 33, was found dead with deep cuts on his body,
police said.
Police said they were called to the
scene and informed of the murder after the body of the man was found on the
roadside.
The deceased was a boda boda rider in
the area. His motorcycle was missing, and police believe it was the target that
led to his murder.
The body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.
Such incidents where riders are killed in robberies targeting their motorcycles have been on the rise.
Police advise the riders to always cooperate with their attackers for the sake of their safety, even as the probe into the incidents goes on.
And in the Miwani area, Kisumu County, a
human skull was found in a sugarcane plantation.
A pair of sports shoes and a dress were found next to the skull, which did not have other body parts.
Other sugarcane cutters stumbled on
the skull on Tuesday evening as they were busy at the farm in the Kibos area before
alerting the police.
The skull was moved to the mortuary
pending identification and other procedures, police said.
Elsewhere in Ngando
village, Sagana, Kirinyaga County, a man died after being attacked by a group
of private general merchants over claims he was a thief.
Police said
they are investigating murder in the incident where Simon Ngare Warui died
after the attack on Tuesday evening.
His body was
found on the roadside long after the incident had happened, police said.
The body was
moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy, even as the probe into the incident goes
on.
Police discourage cases of mob lynching and want suspects to be surrendered to authorities for processing and possible prosecution.
