Security officers at the gates to Raila's home in Opoda farm, Bondo on October 19, 2025./FAITH MATETESecurity has been heightened on Sunday morning at Opoda Farm in Bondo, Siaya County, as preparations got underway to move the body of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology (JOOUST) for the funeral service.
Military officers from the three formations are all set for the procession from Raila Odinga's Opoda home to Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University, the venue for the burial service.

Roads leading to the university were cleared as government and family officials coordinated the final arrangements.
