Crowds of mourners on Thursday flocked Parliament Road in
Nairobi, ahead of the viewing of the body of former Prime Minister Raila Odinga.
This followed the arrival of the body from India, where he
died while undergoing treatment.
The former PM’s body was expected at Parliament Buildings for viewing, but the exercise has since been pushed to Kasarani.
The procession is currently on its way to Lee Funeral Home
where President William Ruto will lead dignitaries in viewing the body of Raila.
Ruto, alongside Raila’s family members led by widow Ida
Odinga, former President Uhuru Kenyatta, Cabinet Secretaries, and other senior
government officials, will be the first to view the body at the morgue.
