AN
OPPOSITION MP has reportedly become a bother
to a senior parliamentary leader by frequently seeking financial assistance.
Sources say the MP supposedly
visits the leader’s office almost weekly, requesting money—often for funerals
or harambees in his constituency. The constant demands have angered the
leader’s team, who have allegedly instructed aides to deny him access. It
remains unclear why the second-term lawmaker, who earns about Sh1 million a
month, appears to be in such financial distress.
