There was pomp, color, and cultural flair in Malava, Kakamega County, as two prominent political families came together to celebrate the union of their children.

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi’s son, Moses Mudavadi, tied the knot with Qillian Saiya, daughter of former nominated senator Naomi Shiyonga and retired GSU commandant William Saiya, in a vibrant traditional ceremony.

The occasion, held at the bride’s home, blended modern elegance with rich Luhya traditions, drawing family, friends, and political allies who turned out in large numbers to bless the couple.

Dressed in dazzling traditional attire, Moses and Qillian exchanged vows of love and commitment before cheering relatives and well-wishers.

The event not only marked the beginning of their journey together but also symbolized a union between two respected families in Western Kenya.
