The Danish Refugee Council (DRC) has announced new job openings in its East
Africa and Great Lakes (EAGL) headquarters hub.
In a statement, DRC said it is seeking exceptionally qualified, committed
and dynamic individuals to join its team.
The vacancies are for the positions of Regional Advocacy Advisor and Senior
Advisor Business Development and Donor Engagement.
According to the announcement, the Regional
Advocacy Advisor will be a member of the Global Advocacy Unit.
The role seeks to promote DRC as a credible humanitarian and development
actor with expertise in displacement and to influence key decision makers and
other stakeholders.
It will also involve coordinating advocacy efforts across country offices in
the region.
The Senior Advisor for Business Development
and Donor Engagement will focus on building and maintaining strategic
partnerships.
The statement noted that the position is responsible for leading regional
processes for business development and strategic programs development.
It also supports donor engagement and the development and maintenance of
strategic partnerships in the region.
