Saudi Arabia’s low-cost carrier flynas will introduce three weekly direct
flights between Riyadh and Nairobi starting October 2, 2025.
The airline said the new route will strengthen
connectivity between East Africa and the Middle East, supporting travel for
tourism, trade, and religious purposes.
“By connecting Riyadh and Nairobi, we aim to
make travel more convenient and affordable, support Kenya’s tourism sector,
create new opportunities for businesses on both sides, and reinforce flynas’
international network of destinations in Africa,” said Waleed Alahmed, Director
of Corporate Communications at flynas.
flynas described the addition of Nairobi to its
network as part of its wider growth plan and in line with Saudi Arabia’s
National Civil Aviation Strategy, which seeks to expand connections to 250
international destinations by 2030.
Kenya becomes the fourth African destination
served by flynas, after Addis Ababa, Entebbe, and Djibouti.
Tickets will be available through the
airline’s website, mobile app, call centre, and accredited travel agents, the
company said.
flynas is a multi-award-winning low-cost carrier based in Saudi Arabia and
the first airline listed on the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul).

across 139 routes to more than 70 domestic and international destinations in 30
