Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua faced the public for the first time since he left the country for a tour of the United States.

A visibly excited Gachagua, wearing a cowboy hat and blue denim with a checked shirt, greeted his supporters as anti-Ruto tunes filled the air along Mombasa Road.

Gachagua landed at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) at around 1 pm.

He was accompanied by his wife, Pastor Dorcas.

While in the US, the DCP leader visited several States where he met the Kenyan diaspora and held engagements.

Outside Terminal 1 for the international arrivals and departures, a group of enthusiastic supporters, including politicians allied gathered to receive him.
