President William Ruto and Former Prime Minister Raila Odinga have jointly chaired the ODM–Kenya Kwanza Parliamentary Group meeting in Karen.
Deputy President Kithure Kindiki and other leaders attended the meeting.
In a tweet on X, UDA stated that the meeting is unfolding as a landmark moment in Kenya’s political journey, bringing together MPs from both sides under the joint leadership of President William Ruto and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
According to UDA, the session builds on the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the two leaders last year and is shaping the future of bipartisan cooperation.

"At the center of discussions is a 10-point programme being steered by a committee chaired by Agnes Zani. The agenda touches on economic recovery, job creation, lowering the cost of living, electoral reforms, youth and women empowerment, strengthening devolution, and anti-corruption measures. Leaders are also deliberating on provisions for healing and compensation for families affected by past protests," UDA said.
"The meeting is also reaffirming the National Dialogue Committee (NADCO) report, which charts a path for bipartisan reforms in Parliament. These include electoral justice, sustainable political party funding, and a shared framework for budget making."
