Women living alone tend to be happier and more satisfied with their lives and status than their male counterparts, a research report confirms.

Comprehensive research conducted by Elaine Hoan and Geoff MacDonald at the University of Toronto, analysing data from nearly 6,000 singles, found that single women report higher well-being than single men, challenging the long-standing narrative about singlehood.
