Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Monday had an engagement with Kenyans living and working in Los Angeles, Southern California.

Through a post on his Facebook, the former Deputy President said that just as he had engaged with Kenyans in all the other cities in the USA, he had profound gratitude for the hope and the future they have for Kenya.

“The culture of hard work, care and responsibility they have can be doubled back home if systems were working,” Gachagua said.

Gachagua said he is glad the Kenyans in the USA keep tabs with what is happening in their motherland.

He concluded by saying that matters of healthcare, security, meaningful economic growth, infrastructure development and education must work for the good of our nation.
