Kalonzo to visit ORPP for party certification
Wiper Democratic Movement party leader Kalonzo Musyoka is expected to visit the Office of the Registrar of Political Parties (ORPP) on Friday to obtain certification for his party's new name.
The party was officially renamed Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) on July 1, 2025, as announced in a Gazette Notice published by the ORPP.
The rebranding is part of an effort to broaden the party’s appeal, particularly among the youth.
“The party now has a new face – Wiper is going national. The new name will be Wiper Patriotic Front (WPF) so that our Gen Z are fully included,” Kalonzo said during a tour in Ukambani in June.
He is also scheduled to address the media at Lions Place, Westlands.

Murkomen emphasized the importance of these meetings in informing operational and policy reforms aimed at improving public service delivery.
So far, the CS has led Jukwaa la Usalama engagements across the Coast and Lower Eastern regions.
