Detectives are investigating an incident where the body of a man was found in a bush after he had been killed in Nyamagesa village, Kisii County.

The body was discovered on Thursday afternoon long after he had been killed and left in a bush, police said.

In Kapletundo village, Sotik, Bomet County,  the body of one Cyrus Kiplangat, 26 was found lying in his house after suspected murder.

Police who visited the scene said the body had visible injuries on the left kneecap, abdomen and elbow.

The body appeared to have been brought to the house after murder elsewhere, police said.

The investigators said they are yet to establish the motive behind the murder.

In Narok’s Entasekera village, a woman was found dead after suspected suicide.

The victim was identified as Brenda Chebet, 30.

Her body was found hanging from the roof of her house with a rope tied around the neck.
