
The report will be officially presented to the State Department for Correctional Services - Prisons Service – on Friday during a ceremony at Villa Rosa Kempinski Hotel, Nairobi.
The assessment identifies vulnerabilities that may enable corruption and unethical conduct across key functional areas. It also offers targeted recommendations to address weaknesses and loopholes.
The findings will guide the implementation of the Strategic Framework for Reforms in the Kenya Prisons Service and support broader institutional improvements.
EPRA to host public forum on draft biofuels regulations
The Energy and Petroleum Regulatory Authority (EPRA) is today holding a public consultative forum on the Draft Energy (Biofuels) Regulations, 2025 at The Edge Convention Centre in Nairobi from 8am to 2pm.
The forum is part of EPRA’s stakeholder engagement process in line with the Statutory Instruments Act, aimed at gathering feedback on the proposed regulations.
The draft regulations are intended to promote the use of biofuels by enforcing standards, ensuring sustainability, and protecting both consumers and investors in the biofuels sector.
EPRA, the body mandated to regulate Kenya’s energy and petroleum sectors, developed the draft through consultations with stakeholders.
Members of the media have been invited to attend and report on the discussions, which focus on Kenya’s shift toward sustainable energy solutions.
Public participation forum on PBO regulations set for today in Nairobi
The Public Benefit Organizations Regulatory Authority will today host a public participation forum on the Draft Public Benefit Organizations (PBO) Regulations, 2025.
The event will take place at Ufungamano House in Nairobi, starting at 9am Stakeholders from the Nairobi Region are expected to attend and give their input on the proposed regulations.
