Kakamega County Assembly has advertised 28 job
opportunities on a permanent and pensionable basis, as well as 20 vacant positions for internships, each for a 12-month contract.
The available vacant opportunities include Senior Principal Legal Counsel, Research Officer I (2 posts), Finance Officer I, Accountant I (2 posts), Accountant II, Supply Chain Management Assistant I (2 posts), andSupply Chain Management Assistant II.
The county assembly also seeks to recruit an Audio
Technician/Officer I, an Audio Technician/Officer II, a Sign Language
Interpreter II, a Public Communications and Media Relations Officer II (3 posts), an
Administration Officer I, an Administrative Assistant, and an Office
Administrative Assistant I(2 posts).
The advertisement also has positions for Receptionist II
(2posts), an Internal Auditor, a Ward Liason Officer, and Chief Support Staff (3posts)

The Baringo County
Public Service Board has also advertised five vacant positions on a contractual
basis.
The vacant positions include a Municipal Physical Planner for
a three-year contract, a Municipal Manager for a five-year contract, a Senior
Officer Administrative for a three-year contract, an Agricultural Officer, and
a County Attorney for a six-year contract.

“Applicants should submit their applications together with
copies of their detailed Curriculum Vitae, Academic and Professional
Certificates, Testimonials, National Identity Card or passport,” the advert
stated.
The County noted that the application should be contained in
a sealed envelope, with the position applied for clearly indicated on the outside of the envelope.
The application
should be addressed to the Secretary/CEO, Baringo County Public Service Board, Mwalimu Plaza, 2nd Floor, P.O. Box 505-334-00, Kabarnet.
Successful candidates will be required to ensure that they
meet the requirements outlined in Chapter Six of the Constitution.
The Kenya Ports Authority has also advertised a vacant job
opportunity for the position of Chairman-Joint Industrial Council.
Applicants must be Kenyan citizens.
A detailed CV, phone contact, copies of academic and relevant professional certificates, and a copy of the National Identity Card should accompany application letters.

The job position is on a contractual basis for three years, renewable and subject to an annual Performance Appraisal by the Council.
To qualify for the position, applicants must have at least a
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or any other
related field from an accredited institution.
They should also have a proven track record of successful
CBA Negotiations with experience on not less than (10) years.
