Looking for a new job? The Public Benefit Organizations Regulatory Authority (PBORA) is hiring.
PBORA is the team that keeps an eye on public benefit organisations in Kenya.
They’re looking for people to join them in different roles and all the jobs are permanent and pensionable — long-term security.
Here’s what’s on offer:
There’s a spot for a Principal Finance Officer (Ref: PBORA/4/PFO/2025). Just one, so it’s a hot ticket.
If compliance is your thing, there are eight Senior Compliance Officer roles (Ref: PBORA/5/SCO/2025).
Registration Officer? Four positions open (Ref: PBORA/6/RO/2025).
They also need someone for Investigations & Enforcement (Ref: PBORA/6/IEO/2025). Only one slot.
Supply Chain Management Officer (Ref: PBORA/6/PSCO/2025)—two positions.
Communication Officer (Ref: PBORA/6/CO/2025)—two jobs up for grabs.
ICT Officer (Ref: PBORA/6/ICTO/2025)—they want two.
If you’re into partnerships and resource mobilisation, there’s one opening (Ref: PBORA/6/PRMO/2025).
Auditor (Ref: PBORA/6/ADT/2025)—just one needed.
Office Administrator (Ref: PBORA/6/OA/2025)—single slot.
Senior Customer Care Assistant (Ref: PBORA/7/SCCA/2025)—one post.
And for drivers, there are two positions (Ref: PBORA/9/DRV/2025).
PBORA says it's an equal opportunity employer and has encouraged women, youth, minorities, marginalised groups, and persons with disabilities to apply.
Applying is simple.
Send a hard copy application with your cover letter, CV, ID, and certificates.
Address it to the Director/CEO at PBORA, Co-operative Bank House, 15th Floor, Haile Selassie Avenue, P.O. Box 44617-00100, Nairobi.
Prefer email? No problem. Send your application to [email protected].
Just make sure the subject line says which job you’re after and includes the reference number.
Don’t wait around.
“All applications must be received no later than 5pm on July 28, 2025.” Miss the deadline and you’re out.
PBORA is strict about fairness. “Any form of canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.”
The authority says only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
If you’re picked, you’ll need to show clearance certificates from the police, HELB, KRA, EACC, and a Credit Reference Bureau.
