He was speaking on Wednesday during the 11th Edition of Invest Africa’s flagship event held in London, United Kingdom.
“As we seek ways to transform Africa’s growth agenda, we must reflect on and remain alive to global economic structures, emerging trends, patterns of value creation, and our prevailing realities at home,” he said.

In a statement posted on his X account, the President urged African nations to take bold and deliberate steps to harness the continent’s vast resources in pursuit of growth, transformation, and meaningful participation in the global economy.
“Africa must step forward, rise, and harness its resources for growth and transformation,” he affirmed.

He further added that the continent must go beyond investments in traditional sectors such as agriculture and manufacturing, and strategically prioritise services, technology and human capital development to create employment opportunities and generate sustainable wealth.
