Kenyans on Wednesday came out in large numbers to take part in protests that were taking place in Nairobi and other parts of the country.
The protestors, mostly Gen Z, took to the streets to mark the first anniversary since the June 25, 2024 anti anti-Finance Bill protests that left at least 60 people dead.
Armed with flags and placards, the protestors arrived in the city as early as 7 am.
The demonstrations, which took place in at least 23 counties, saw widespread police deployment.
