President William Ruto on Tuesday met Azerbaijan Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at State House, Nairobi.
Minister Bayramov is in Kenya to strengthen diplomatic relations.
President Ruto said the two countries are exploring opportunities of mutual interest and benefit, including trade and investment, tourism, green energy, mining and people-to-people ties.

Ruto said the relations between Kenya and Azerbaijan will grow stronger with the inauguration of an embassy in Nairobi that was opened two years ago.
“The mission will cement the foundation for the flourishing of our two nations' ties,” he said.
