

Deputy President Kithure Kindiki takes his development tour today, May 22, to Kakamega and Kisii counties.
Kindiki will commence his tour in Ikolomani and later Butere Constituencies in Kakamega County, where he is scheduled to inspect ongoing development projects.
He will then head to Etago in South Mugirango, Kisii County, for an economic empowerment programme.
The event has been organised by area MP and National Assembly chief whip Sylvanus Osoro.
In the afternoon, he will preside over the Limuru Dairy Farmers’ Cooperatives Forum in Kiambu County.
Raila expected at Parliament
ODM leader Raila Odinga is expected in Parliament to submit the proposed revenue-sharing formula among counties.
Raila is expected to arrive in Parliament at 10 am.
He will speak from the Senate Chamber.
A podium has already been set up for the opposition chief.
Senators are currently being taken through the proposed formula by the House Finance and Budget Committee, which scrutinised a framework proposed by the Commission on Revenue Allocation.
PSC forum on HRMD
The Public Service Commission will hold a consultative meeting with Directors of Human Resource Management and Development (HRMD) from government Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs).
The meeting will be held at the Kenya School of Government, Lower Kabete, starting 8:30 am.
The objective of the meeting is to discuss HR issues affecting ministries and agencies and also to introduce the new Commission members to heads of HRMD in ministries.
Ex-MP Ndolo case
Former Makadara MP Reuben Ndolo will today return to court for directions in a case where he was charged with causing disturbance and threatening a city businessman.
The matter is coming up for mention before Milimani Chief Magistrate Lucas Onyina.
Ndolo was charged alongside Daniel Otieno Juma, George Otieno, Cyrus Nyamboga Gichana, Bernard Ochieng Andai, Dick Otieno Ombaka and Hassan Dima Wario.
Ndolo and Juma were jointly alleged to have uttered words threatening to kill one Rashid Hamid, who was a director at Richland Properties Limited.
The offence was committed in 2019, and the accused persons were arrested by Flying Squad officers.
The charge sheet showed Ndolo and his accomplices threatened to shoot the businessman over a parcel of land.
They have all denied the charges and were granted Sh200000 bail each.
