Kenya Power has listed areas to face power interruptions across the country on Wednesday, May 13, 2025.
The Power Company said areas in seven counties will experience power interruption from 8 am to 5 pm.
Counties to be affected are Nairobi, Mombasa, Nandi, Bungoma, Siaya, Nyeri and Kiambu.
The power disruption helps to facilitate system maintenance.
Nairobi
Areas in Nairobi will face power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Ngando, Chief Camp, Toyota, Showground, Ayany East, Part of Jamuhuri, Part of Dagoretti Corner, Mama Wahu Road, Gando Catholic Church, Atlanta Ground, Jamuhuri CITAM Church, Nairobi City Council Houses East and adjacent customers.
Nandi
Parts of Nandi will experience power disruption from 9 am to 5 pm.
They include Kipyesh, Kurgung, Tulwo, Kimungoror, Chepterwai and adjacent customers.
At the same time Kamason and Kamobo will also face power disruption.
Bungoma
Areas in Bungoma to face power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm are Chebwai, Matete, Pan Africa Chemicals, Sango, Chabadiah and Kaburengu.
Siaya
Parts of Siaya to experience power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm are Mbaga Mission, Bishop Okoth Mbaga Girls, Hawinga, Mwer, Boro Market, Kodiere, Pisoko, Rabar Market and Sidundo.
Nyeri
Ngandu Village, Kiamaina C/Fact, Kiawanduha Village, Thangathi Village, Giakomu Village, Unjiru Village, Grando Kago, Ichuga Secondary School, Gathumbi, Unjiru PCEA, Kiawarigi C/Fact, Kiangurwe Village, Gachuiro Village, General China, Gathu-ini Village, Gathu-ini Primary School, Kihuro Village, Itiati Market, Kiamaucheru Village, Itiati Mukonye Village, Gitunduti Market, Kianjuguma Village, Gikore Village, Kihuri Village, Safaricom Boosters and Airtel Boosters in Nyeri will face power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm..
Kiambu
In Kiambu, areas including St. Mulumba Hosp, Kevian Industries, Chania Feeds, Capwell Industries, Gretsa University, Kiandutu Police Station, KVM, Phase 13, Benmade Industries, Kenya Nut and adjacent customers will face power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm.
Mombasa
Parts of Mombasa will face power interruption from 9 am to 5pm.
The areas are Bohora Flats, Sheikh Khalifa Secondary School, NITA and adjacent customers.
