Kenya Power has listed areas scheduled for power interruption on Tuesday, May 13, 2025.
The power company said areas in seven counties will face power cuts at diverse times between 9 am and 5 pm.
The utility firm stated that the power cuts facilitate system maintenance.
Counties to be affected include Nairobi, Nandi, Kisumu, Bungoma, Nyeri, Laikipia, and Kilifi.
Nairobi
Parts of Nairobi will face power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm.
The areas include Githurai 45, Co-op Bank, Naivas, Kingdom Sacco, Mt. Kenya, Kimbo, Mwana Mukia, Clanne Academy, Kassmatt, Fountain Junior, Kwa DO, Mukinye, Army Barracks, Sukari B, Mwiki School, Kimbo Police, Part of Mwihoko, Farmers Choice, Part of Clay City and adjacent customers.
Other areas are Paa Crescent, ICC Church, Muthaiti Avenue, Nyayo Stadium, Nairobi West S/Center, Part Nairobi West, Niamey Road, Ghandhi Avenue, Kodi Road, Summerdale Hotel, Swara Crescent, Kifaru Crescent, Msufu Road, Part of Muhoho Avenue, Sumba Road, Rio Hotel, Kisauni Road, Nairobi West Hospital, and Madaraka Roundabout.
Nandi
Parts of Nandi will face power disruption from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Danger, Kapsasur, and adjacent customers.
Kisumu
Parts of Kisumu will face power interruption from 9 am to 3 pm.
The areas include part of Siriba Campus, Maseno Nyawita, and adjacent customers.
Bungoma
Areas in Bungoma will be affected from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Mechimeru, Nzoia, Machinjoni, Tembelela, Bukembe, Marobo, and Mabanga.
Nyeri
Parts of Nyeri to face power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm include Gititu Dispensary and Schools, Nyaithe C/Fact and Schools, Karo Schools, Gathungo, Kiaraho, Maingirano and Ithe Kahuno.
Laikipia
Areas in Laikipia will face power cuts from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Kongoni Farm, Umande Market, Ndemu Market, Seiyo Market, Gakeu Market, Kalalu H/Centre, Kalalu Girls Secondary School, and adjacent customers.
Kilifi
Parts of Kilifi will face power interruption from 9 am to 5 pm.
They are Marina, Ndodo, Parts of Mtwapa Town, Jambo Travelers, Furaha Academy, Maweni, Screenshot, Bahari Parents, Jumba Ruins, Greenwood, KMA, Cocacola Bottlers, Ashut Plastics, Mombasa Apparel, Milly Fruits, Mzuri Sweets, Umoja Rubber Limited, Ogalis, Mwalimu Omar, North Coast Medical Collage, Bomani kwa Kanyi, Khosla Farm, Pentagon, UB40, Bomani Dispensary and Kikamabala Housing.
