The requiem mass of the late Kasipul MP Charles Were Ong'ondo is currently underway at the Consolata Shrine in Westlands.

Mourners at the requiem service observed a black dress code with a touch of orange, reflecting the solemnity of the occasion and the representation of the Late MP as a member of ODM.

The body of the late MP arrived at 1:40 pm at the Church premises in a black hearse.

It was escorted by Members of Parliament, many allied to the ODM party, into the church.
