President William Ruto who is Narok County for a two-day development tour officially opened Tuesday the Suswa ESP market.

The Sh56.7 million project was constructed jointly between the county and the national government.

It is part of other similar projects currently nearing completion across  the counties.

It will accommodate 200 traders.

Ruto was accompanied by a host of leaders who included Governor Patrick Ntutu and his Kajiado counterpart Jpseph Ole Lenku.

ESP is an iniatiative aimed at boosting economic growth by supporting small-scale traders in line with the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) economic pillar.

The facility features display spaces, cold storage rooms, food court as well as loading and offloading zones.
