Mwisho akasema mnaona kila siku headline inabadilika, kwa hivyo headline isiwafanye mkose kufanya kazi. Focus is very key since the headline that does not change is the unity and development of all Kenyans," he said.

(During the reign of the third president, Mwai Kibaki, people were complaining a lot that newspaper headlines were changing a lot. Kibaki said bring all the weekly newspapers, and order that every headline be read. Finally, he said you see that the headline changes every day, so the headline should not make you miss work).

Tunawaambia ukweli, better a bird in hand than 10 in the bush. Many regions are saying we wish we had just a fraction of what the Mt Kenya region has. So you need to work with the President, who has a lot of faith in the people of this region."

"Regions like Western Kenya have never ruled this country, but they support the government, so this notion that you have to support the government because one of your own is at the helm is not the correct philosophy for a united Kenya."
