It was pomp and colour as Kanu Chairman and former Baringo Senator Gideon Moi’s son wedded his bride, Ivy Meli at Ol Tukai Lodge, Amboseli.

The event was graced by family members and high-profile guests who were dressed for the occasion.

The ceremony, held in a private but elegant affair, brought together close family, political allies, and friends to celebrate their union.

Gideon said that they were proud parents watching their son exchange vows to his bride, Ivy Meli, to make a life-long commitment.

“As a family, we welcome Ivy into our fold. We cherish and adore her as our daughter. May God bless their union and grant them the grace to walk this journey of love together,” he said in a statement on X.

High-profile guests who attended the wedding are former President Uhuru Kenyatta and Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka, among others.

The event marked a rare public appearance for both Kenyatta and Kalonzo, who were warmly received by the Moi family.

Speaking during the event, Kalonzo Musyoka congratulated the newlyweds and lauded the Moi family for upholding the values of family and respect.

Though not speaking formally, Uhuru was seen engaging warmly with guests and sharing light moments with former colleagues.
